G4 vs G3 — what's the difference?

Mechanically refined, optically identical. Slimmer housing (up to 15%), improved gland to reduce siphoning, optimized exterior wiring. Performance specs are exactly the same. Backward compatible with G3 mounts.

What does DoB mean?

Driver-on-Board. The driver circuit is integrated onto the LED board — no external driver box. More compact, easier to install. Just connect to 220–240V AC mains.

Is this 20W variant right for my project?

The 20W delivers 2,000 lm at 4000K. For larger areas, consider stepping up in wattage. For accent lighting, lower wattages work well. Browse all Philips floodlights or contact us for a recommendation.

Is it suitable for wet environments?

Yes. IP65 rated plus a built-in breather valve to vent moisture from siphoning. Tested from -40°C to +50°C. Designed for year-round outdoor use, including coastal and high-humidity areas.
