FAQ

Does the BVC010 have a motion sensor?
No sensor. It works on dusk-to-dawn logic and is fully controlled by the included remote: ON / OFF / AUTO / 3H / 5H / 8H / All / Partial modes.
How does it charge and run?
100% solar. The panel charges the LiFePO4 battery during the day (light off). At dusk it switches on automatically and runs from the battery until dawn. No external power connection needed.
Where can I install it?
General outdoor use — amenity areas, security, landscape and parking. Mount the panel in full sun, clear of trees or building shadows. Not for pole mounting, and not recommended for extreme environments.
Can I choose the color temperature?
CCT is fixed per SKU: 3000K / 4000K / 6500K. Standard stock is 6500K. For 3000K or 4000K — or a 2-year warranty — contact our sales team.
My light won’t turn on — why?
The LiFePO4 battery self-discharges. If the unit is stored unused for over 11 months (0–25°C, ≤75% RH), the battery can over-discharge and the light may not start. Keep stock charged — components are non-replaceable.
How does it compare to wired Philips floodlights?
BVC010 is Philips’ off-grid solar option. For mains-powered wired floodlights, see BVP150 or BVP280 in the flood light collection.
